Botox & Anti-Aging
We believe in treating from the inside out. Our naturopathic practitioners help patients look and feel great. But, for those patients who want help to achieve the look they want, we offer Botox. Several creams for age spots, collagen and retinoids are also used at our office. We prescribe hormone face creams to improve elasticity and prevent wrinkles as well.
BOTOX Cosmetic is the #1 requested non-surgical cosmetic procedure in the US and is now available weekly in our office. We can treat the FDA approved areas for dynamic wrinkles, including moderate to severe frown lines, crows feet lines, and forehead lines.
How does it work?
In short, BOTOX stops the signal from nerves that causes muscles to contract. This temporarily relaxes the muscle and gives the treated area a softer, more youthful look.
How many injections will I receive?
During your visit, our team will assess your areas of concern to develop the best treatment plan. We always keep your goals as our #1 priority.
What should I expect after my treatment?
Avoid lying down for 4 hours after treatment, manipulating the treated areas (e.g. facial or massage), and activities that can cause flushing (e.g., application of heat to the face, alcohol consumption, exercising, tanning). If bruising or swelling occurs, a soft ice pack can be applied for 10-15 minutes to the bruised site. You may begin to notice partial reduction in muscle function after 2-3 days, with maximal reduction in 7-14 days (some patients up to 30 days post treatment). Results generally last 4-6 months. To avoid BOTOX resistance, it is recommended to wait 3 months before re-treating the area.

Who can’t receive BOTOX?
Pregnant and lactating women (due to the lack of studies in this population), those with allergies to human albumin, known hypersensitivity to any botulinum toxin product or its components, patients with neurologic disorders (ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, Lambert Eaton Disorder, etc)
